Application process FAQs

As an external applicant, you will be able to create an online application, upload a resume, and track the status of your applications through the candidate portal (My profile). This initial investment of your time will result in less data entry in future applications. You will also be able to view and apply to all external openings, update your contact information and set up job alerts. This can all be done easily through mobile devices from the candidate portal as well.

Due to the individual requirements of each job posting, you need to apply to one job opening at a time, but you are free to apply to as many roles as you like. You must complete each individual job application separately. Information provided in the application process will carry over to your next application, with the ability to review and edit each time.

At Anderon, we look for specific skills for our roles, which sometimes can be super specialized. You will find this information in all our job descriptions. If you don’t meet 100% of the requirements but have a strong background, are passionate about your area of expertise and are fully open to growing and developing new skills every day, don’t hesitate to give it a go. In case you still need to acquire some skills, we have plenty of courses and training available for you.

You can log in to the candidate portal (My Profile) to view and manage information related to your job applications, including your resume, application statuses, and any offers you may receive. By selecting Your Applications, you can track the progress of all submitted applications and view any updates. As your application status changes, the portal will be updated accordingly, and you will also receive email notifications about updates and next steps in the hiring process.

If your application status shows “No Longer Under Consideration” immediately after applying, it usually means that your application did not meet one or more basic job requirements. Even if the status changes quickly, it does not reflect on your overall skills or experience. You may want to review the job requirements and ensure future applications meet them.

When your application status shows “Under Recruiter Review,” it means that a recruiter is currently looking at your application. They are checking whether your skills, experience, and qualifications match the requirements of the position. At this stage, no decision has been made yet, and your application is still being considered.

Applications cannot be edited after submission. You may withdraw and reapply if the position is still open.

Log in to your account on the candidate portal (My profile), and on the landing page, you will see an Edit Your Information button and you will have the option to update your profile and information.

Anderon is committed to the employment of people with disabilities. As part of being invited to complete an Anderon assessment, all candidates receive instructions on how to request an accommodation or adjustment due to their disability. The Anderon selection and assessment team will individually work with each candidate needing an accommodation or adjustment.

How long the selection process takes depends on many different factors like which role you are applying to, how fast the applicant responds to specific questions after submitting their CV, the number of applications that our recruiters receive, and more, so there is no overall timeframe we can share. Our recruiters are working as quickly as they can to get through applications.

To assess your skills and abilities, we use what we call structured or behavioral interviews. We ask you questions related to the technical skills and behaviors required to be successful in the role. Of course, specific questions vary depending on each role and experience level. If you want to be prepared for this type of interview, try thinking of specific examples of when you have proven your skills and behaviors related to the role, but most importantly, think of outcomes. What did you achieve? How did you measure your success? What role did you play in making that happen? We might ask you about your short-, mid-, and long-term career goals, too.

Once a hiring decision has been made, you will be notified of the outcome through the candidate portal and/or email. If you are selected, Anderon will provide details about the offer and guide you through the next steps, including onboarding. If you are not selected, your application status will be updated accordingly. You can continue to explore and apply for other opportunities that match your skills and interests.

While you might not have been the best fit for that specific role, we encourage you to set up Job Alerts and to continue exploring other Anderon opportunities for which you may be a better fit and that match your skills.

Of course. Join our Talent Network and you’ll be able to send in your CV. You can also subscribe to Job alerts based on your skills and interests.

Anderon does not use any automated employment decision tools that are subject to New York City Local Law 144 of 2021 (NYC LL144). Anderon will periodically reassess its determination in this regard to remain compliant with the requirements of NYC LL144.
