Head of Foundry Business
Dr. Dan J. Dechene is Head of Foundry Business at Anderon, leading the company’s commercial foundry strategy and customer engagement efforts to accelerate the development and production of next generation 300mm quantum wafers.
Throughout his career, Dr. Dechene has worked across the global semiconductor industry to translate scientific breakthroughs into high-volume production. His expertise includes semiconductor process development, Design and System Technology Co-Optimization (DTCO/STCO), process design kits (PDKs), electronic design automation (EDA), computational patterning, yield engineering, reliability, test, and advanced manufacturing.
Dr. Dechene has held positions at IBM and GlobalFoundries, where he supported advanced lithography and technology enablement for next-generation logic development, contributed to leading-edge semiconductor process technologies, and collaborated with fabless companies, IP partners, and manufacturing organizations. He later led technology readiness initiatives across multiple research and development sites, supporting advanced semiconductor and quantum technology programs.
Prior to joining Anderon, Dr. Dechene led global strategy for semiconductor and quantum technology enablement and established critical manufacturing and technology partnerships. His teams integrated research, design, manufacturing, EDA, and partner networks to accelerate the path from innovation to production.
Dr. Dechene holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Lakehead University and both an M.E.Sc. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Western University. He is the author of numerous technical publications and holds multiple U.S. patents.
